SBI has recently released SBI PO Admit Card 2017 of Phase III (GD&PI) for SBI PO Recruitment 2017. Since the declaration of SBI PO Main Exam Result (Phase II), all the shortlisted candidates have been waiting eagerly for the release ofSBI PO Admit Cardor the SBI PO Interview Call Letter.
SBI PO Recruitment 2017is being held to fill 2313 officer vacancies in State Bank of India in all the branches across India. Candidates who have been shortlisted must appear for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
Candidates who have qualified SBI PO Phase II and have their names on the list released by SBI have been shortlisted to participate in Phase III of SBI PO Selection Process. All the successful candidates shall receive email or/and SMS from the bank regarding their selection and shall be called for Group discussion & Personal Interview rounds.
Candidates can download their SBI PO Admit Card Phase III (Interview Call letter) and Bio Data form from the bank`s website within the specified dates. It will contain the venue, time and list of the documents that the candidates need to carry for the GD/Interview rounds.
Checklist of Documents
Documents’ Verification Process for SBI PO Phase III is quick and easy. Candidates must fill their Bio Data form, preferably, by editing it. Candidates with exceptionally good and clear handwriting may write it. Candidates are required to prepare 4–5 sets of the Bio Data form as mentioned in the admit card. Candidates must keep two copies of their character certificates from Gazette Officers/school/college principal.
The documents required are class 10th,12th and Graduation certificates. Certificates of sports, NCC etc can also be added. Candidates will also have to bring along their work experience letter, appointment letter, etc, if applicable.
Candidates must stick to the documents requested in interview call letter or mentioned on the website and keep 4 copies of all their certificates ready.
Listed below are the important documents to be carried by the candidates, at the time of SBI PO interview:

|Candidate belonging to ST/SC/OBC category must carry the caste certificate|
|Disability certificate for “person with disability” category.|
|Ex-serviceman candidate must produce a copy of the Service or Discharge book along with pension payment order and documentary proof of rank last/presently held.|
|NOC in case the candidate is already a government servant.|
|Candidates eligible for age relaxation under II (5) must produce the domicile certificate.|
|Certificate of experience, if applicable.|
What to expect in SBI PO Interview?
After the verification of documents, are called to attend the Group Discussion (GD) round. In this round, candidates are divided into a group of 8-15 (depends on the committee), and each group is given a topic to discuss and present their views upon for 15-20 minutes.
Group Discussions are used to assess aspirants on their leadership skills, communication skills, tactfulness, problem-solving abilities, and ability to stay focused and get the task done in the designated time.
The Personal Interview round follows GD. Personal Interviews are designed to assess Aspirants’ confidence, thought clarity, interpersonal and soft skills. The duration of the interview depends entirely on the answers given by the aspirant.
It is mandatory for the shortlisted Aspirants to appear for the all the tests of GD and PI round to be eligible for the final recruitment to SBI PO.
What is next to SBI PO Interview?
SBI will probably release the final selection list during the last week of September or the first week of October.
There is a separate score for both the rounds of Phase III. Group discussion is of 20 marks while Personal Interview is of 30 marks. Candidates must perform to the best of their abilities if they want to receive the appointment letter.
The marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II) will be added to the marks obtained in GD & Interview (Phase-III) for preparation of the final merit list. Marks of the SBI Prelims will not be considered.
The candidates will have to qualify separately in both Phase-II and Phase-III. The final merit list is prepared after aggregating marks of SBI Main Examination and Group Discussion & Interview out of 100 for each category.
A final merit list is prepared for 100 marks which are derived by converting the 250 marks of SBI Main exam to 75 & 50 marks of phase III to 25. Candidates who will rank at the top for each category’s Merit list will be then appointed as PO in SBI as per vacancies.
